It is when I see things like these that I curse my lack of sewing skills. My grandmother used to sew so well she could do fine lingerie and she even sewed items for Sears way back in the day in Nicaragua (she would sew "Made in U.S.A." tags onto them). She passed way before I was born so I got no chance at the skills. I tried on my own in highschool but I had no idea what I was doing.
Karyn at
The Workroom (a sew + craft space available by the hour) in Parkdale does know what she's doing. She made this pillow with the 'cathedral window' detailing very very well. Nice job!
